Product Features
Mantosıva®EXB (Thermal Plaster) is a boron-based thermal plaster system. It is made from inorganic materials, and the molecules in its structure, thanks to boron, break and disperse heat waves due to the refractive (reflective) property of the material, providing effective thermal insulation. As a result, it does not lose its properties at high temperatures, prevents fire spread, and inhibits ignition.
Mantosıva®EXB (Thermal Plaster) is lightweight due to the presence of thousands of natural air bubbles, both open and closed, in its structure. It has a unique sound-absorbing property, absorbing and neutralizing high-frequency and impact sounds, providing insulation. Thanks to its stable chemical structure, it does not undergo chemical reactions, is neutral, and does not decompose in water or develop mold. It does not cause corrosion or rust and is not susceptible to degradation by microorganisms.
Advantages

-) Insulates your building without breaking or drilling, using a single product with no mesh or dowels.
-) Its monolithic application structure prevents heat bridges.
-) Easy to apply, saving on labor and time.
-) Mantosıva gives an aesthetic and modern appearance to the surfaces it is applied to.
Surfaces It Can Be Applied To
It can be applied to all types of old and new buildings, including surfaces such as raw concrete, Ytong, brick, pumice brick, and similar mineral-based plastered surfaces. Before applying to painted surfaces, it is recommended to first apply Mantosıva Universal primer.
Mixing Method
Mix the 15 kg bag of Mantosıva®EXB with 13-14 liters of water and use a suitable wide-volume mixing container, such as one with a capacity of 50-60 liters. Pour approximately 80-90% of the specified water amount for the 15 kg bag of Mantosıva®EXB into the mixing container. Then, gradually add the 15 kg of Mantosıva®EXB over the water and mix with a 100-150 rpm mixer. Depending on the consistency, add the remaining water to adjust the mixture's consistency. Let the mixture rest for 3 minutes, then mix for another minute. The total mixing time should not exceed 3 minutes.
No foreign substances should be added to the mixture. Dispose of any packaging waste in the nearest municipal waste containers.
Surface Preparation
A) New Surfaces: Any damaged or rough areas on the existing surface should be repaired. For aerated concrete (gas concrete) walls and raw concrete surfaces, Mantosıva Universal transition primer must be applied before the plaster application. In very hot weather conditions, for new surfaces without primer, the surface should be moistened with water 10-15 minutes before applying the plaster.
B) Old Surfaces: Any broken or damaged areas on the surface should be repaired. Areas with peeling paint or those prone to peeling should be scraped and thoroughly cleaned. After this preparation, Mantosıva Universal transition primer should be applied to the prepared surface.
Application Method
Mantosıva®EXB is applied by placing the aluminum profile strips (ano çıtaları) at appropriate intervals on the surface to determine the thickness. Then, Mantosıva®EXB is applied between these strips either by trowel or with a spraying machine, depending on preference. After approximately 6-7 hours, once the material has partially dried, the strips are removed. The gaps left by the strips are filled, and to ensure the surface is smooth, a final layer of Mantosıva®EXB is applied at a thickness of 5-6 mm.
After the application, the surface should be left to dry for 2 days. Following this, one coat of primer and the final decorative coating should be applied.
It is recommended to leave the surface to dry for a minimum of 4-5 days before proceeding with any painting. Before painting, ensure that the surface is completely dry and free of moisture.
Storage Life
The storage life of Mantosıva®EXB (Thermal Plaster) is 18 months from the production date when stored in a dry, moisture-free environment. During storage, the product should be stacked with a maximum of 14 bags on top of each other to avoid damage and ensure optimal preservation.
