Product Features
Mantosıva®FL Thermal Screed is a bagged, lightweight alternative to traditional screed
with the added benefit of providing thermal and acoustic insulation.
It can be used for flooring or on roofs where it can be installed to falls.
Mantosıva®FL is a natural mineral formulation that uses Mineral Volcanic Foam to provide the insulating aggregate.
Mineral Volcanic Foam is a naturally occurring mineral formed from Volcanic rocks that have expanded and trapped millions of micro air bubbles before cooling and hardening.
Mantosıva®FL Thermal Screed is not designed to provide a permanent wearable
surface and should be finished off with a cement sand screed or similar.
Due to its open and close natural beads of air, it is very light. It has a unique sound-absorbing feature. Mantosıva®FL absorbs ultrasonic and pulsed sounds, neutralizes them and insulates.

Mixing Method
One 25kg bag of Mantosıva®FL Thermal Screed should be mixed with 9-10 litres of water
for a dry screed or 16-18 litres of water for a wet pumped application and use a large, 50 - 60 Lt mixing bowl.
For 25 Kg bag, pour 80-90% of water and the 25 Kg bag of Mantosıva®FL into a mixing bowl and mix at 500-600 rpm mixer speed. Adjust the consistency by adding the remaining water. Rest the mixture for 2 minutes and stir it for another minute. Mixing time should be maximum 3 minutes.
Do not use foreign materials for the mixture. Throw used packaging waste in the trash or throw it in the nearest municipal waste container.

and loose material. Mantosıva Universal Primer provides the ideal adhesive key for all substrates. Mantosıva®FL can be applied by hand or pumped. Uniform layers of 15-20mm should be built up to the required overall
depth. Typical depth is 20mm but Mantosıva®FL can be built up to a depth of 100cm depending on the level of insulation
required. Each layer should be allowed to cure for 5 hours and then slightly dampened before the next layer is applied to it. Depth gauges can be used if required and should be removed after 3 hours and back filled.
Applied Surfaces
It can be applied to all the new and old buildings, exposed concrete, ytong, brick, Pumice Brick coated and similar mineral based surfaces. We recommend applying Mantosıva Universal Primer, transition primer before applications on painted surfaces.,
Storage conditions
When stored in a dry non-humid place, the storage life is 18 months from the date of manufacture. A maximum of 14 product containers can be placed on top of each other during storage.
Product Safety
Mantosıva®FL is a 100% natural and environmentally friendly product. It does not have an alkaline reaction. Make sure to use a dust mask and take the necessary work safety precautions while mixing, as the product will create dust.

| . | Typical values are obtained from the test results of 4x4x16 mortar prism in 23°C and 50% relative humidity conditions. High temperatures shortens the curing and working time, lower temperatures extends the durations. For the best waterproof performance of Mantosıva FL-W1, complete drying should be provided, ideal drying humidity value is minimum ≤ 4%. |
