Product Features
Mantosıva®FL-W1, is a Waterproofing Thermal Mortar with hydrophobic thermal properties., is made of inorganic materials and its refractory (reflector) feature allows it to back break and distribute the heat waves in order to provide effective heat insulation. It prevents the spread of fire and spontaneous combustion. Due to its open and close natural beads of air, it is very light. It has a unique sound-absorbing feature. Mantosıva®UNI absorbs ultrasonic and pulsed sounds, neutralizes them and insulates. Thanks to the stable chemical structure, it prevents chemical reaction. It does not decay or mold in water. It resists corrosion and rusting and cannot be blasted by micro-organisms.
Advantages
Mixing Method
Mix the 25 kg bag of Mantosıva®FL-W1with 14-15 Lt of water, for a proper blend, use a large, 50 - 60 Lt mixing bowl.
For 25 Kg bag, pour 80-90% of water and the 25 Kg bag of Mantosıva®FL-W1into a mixing bowl and mix at 500-600 rpm mixer speed. Adjust the consistency by adding the remaining water. Rest the mixture for 2 minutes and stir it for another minute. Mixing time should be maximum 3 minutes.
Do not use foreign materials for the mixture. Throw used packaging waste in the trash or throw it in the nearest municipal waste container.
Method of Practice
A) New Surfaces: First, fix any damaged or uneven areas. In hot weather conditions, moisturize the surface with water 5 minutes before the application. On walls built by gas concrete, a Mantosıva Universal Primer must be applied 1 or 2 hours before the Mantosıva®FL-W1application. When these processes are complete, Ano laths, which determine the thickness of the Mantosıva®FL-W1, must be nailed onto the surface with suitable spacing. Following this, fill the gaps in between the Ano laths with Mantosıva®FL-W1,by hand or using a screed machine. The laths can be removed 2-3 hours after this process, when the material is pre-dried. Fix the surface by filling in the gaps between the laths. Apply the final coat 1 or 2 days after this process. On horizontal surfaces, roofs and terraces, a coating application is recommended.
B) Old Surface
First, fix any damaged or uneven areas. Scrape and clean any paint that blisters or tends to blister. Following this, the surface must be notched thinly and 1 layer of Polikrom Polirepair 35 must be applied onto the wall with a 4 mm notched trowel.
24 hours after these processes are complete, Ano laths determining the thickness of the Mantosıva®FL-W1, must be nailed onto the surface with suitable spacing. Following this, fill the gaps in between the Ano laths with Mantosıva®FL-W1by hand or using a Screed machine. The laths can be removed 2-3 hours after this process, when the material is pre-dried. Fix the surface by filling in the gaps between the laths. Apply the final coat 1 or 2 days after this process. On horizontal surfaces, roofs and terraces, a coating application is recommended.
Applied Surfaces
It can be applied to all the new and old buildings, exposed concrete, ytong, brick, Pumice Brick coated and similar mineral based surfaces. We recommend applying Mantosıva Universal Primer, transition primer before applications on painted surfaces.
Storage conditions
When stored in a dry non-humid place, the storage life is 18 months from the date of manufacture. A maximum of 14 product containers can be placed on top of each other during storage.
Product Safety
Mantosıva®FL-W1 is a 100% natural and environmentally friendly product. It does not have an alkaline reaction. Make sure to use a dust mask and take the necessary work safety precautions while mixing, as the product will create dust.

High temperatures shortens the curing and working time, lower temperatures extends the durations.
